Our instructor and caller Joe will demonstrate and teach the basic moves and timings you need to enjoy the Céilí. If you are a beginner or first -timer the workshop is a fun and worthwhile essential!

The live music will kick off and the main event will be underway! We'll dance as much as we can in the 2 hours. All dances will be quickly demonstrated and called. Making mistakes is part of the fun!

Welcome to the Galway Céilí Club!

Join us for an afternoon of fun and dancing at St Patrick's Band hall on the 25th May

Learn the basics of Set Dancing & Céilí with a workshop starting at 15:00

Afterward, put your new skills to the test at the Céilí.

The very best in Irish traditional music will be provided by the foot-stomping sounds of We Three Kings featuring...

Bardan Johnson (Fiddle) Felipe Monteiro (Banjo), and Gonzalo (Guitar). You don't want to miss this!

No experience necessary - all levels are welcome! The dances will be demonstrated and called. Grab your friends, bring your two left feet, and come down for a night of Irish social dancing and the mightiest of craic.

We are the Galway Céili Club!

We teach weekly Irish set dancing and balfolk classes. We also host regular live music Céilís and provide private parties and instruction. You'll also find us regularly dancing to trad sessions in pubs.

Our mission is to show how fun Irish social dancing can be and inspire everyone to give Céilís a go!
