Let your creativity flow with Angelina from Blueway Art Studio. In our introduction to Marbling we learn to ‘paint on water’ using centuries-old sustainable techniques. Marbling is a print method of surface design that resembles the look of a marble stone.

Using high quality watercolours and Japanese washi papers your experience evolves into a true work of art!

You will learn the journey of Marbling to our shores, historical patterns, play and see where this mindful experience takes you.

Marbling is meditative and fun, but be prepared for flying paint, so make sure you wear clothes (and shoes) you don’t mind getting sullied!

Workshop highlights:

  • No art experience required
  • Learn how to prepare paper for marbling
  • Create all kinds of beautiful patterns
  • All materials are provided.
  • Create 6-8 A3 sheets of your own unique designs
  • Take pride in your creation, bring home your “painted on water” for use in bookbinding, wall hangings or other paper arts
  • Explore your own creativity and experiment with design.
  • Suitable for adults, seniors, teenagers, Halloween, Christmas, engagement, birthdays & anniversaries, hen dos.
